The JLN Eyes Forward Foundation was created in honor of Jamie Lee Nickerson.  Jamie was an amazing man, husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was a man of honor and integrity, and had a way of making everyone around them feel like they were his favorite people!  His greatest trophy and achievement was his family.  He loved his wife Amy with his entire heart and spent every day of his life showing her exactly how much.  His son's Tyler and Ben were his entire world. He was an incredible role model to his sons on how to work hard, treat others with respect and show up for those closest to you.

He lived life to the fullest every single day of his life.  He worked hard to play hard.  Jamie was an avid golfer, squeezing in a round whenever he could.  His love of golf was passed down to Tyler and Ben. When he wasn't golfing he could be found at the boys baseball games, he was their biggest fan.  His favorite teams were the NY Giants and NY Yankees and enjoyed going to games and watching them with his family and friends.  Jamie and Amy were in several Billiard leagues together as well and the boys have continued his legacy of being a great player.

 

June 11th, 2025, Amy and Jamie celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary surrounded by family and friends in Jamaica.  This trip fully embodied their love of travel.  They took several trips a year with family and friends, enjoying the beach, cruising and all-inclusive resorts.  

 

Tragically, Jamie's precious life was taken far too early. In the wake of such a profound loss, we have searched for a way to honor the man who gave so much to his family, friends and community.  We have found that purpose in the JLN Eyes Forward Foundation.
